Procedure for Admissions
Following are specific steps in our admission process:
- Interested parents visit and observe the school and are
interviewed to ascertain that Discovery House is the place to
meet the expectations you have for your child’s development.
- Your child will be observed by our teaching staff.
- Admissions decisions are made based on an evaluation of the
child's school visit, and the needs of existing classes with
regard to balance of age and sex.
- When the interview and assessment have been successfully
concluded, you will pay an application fee and complete the
application forms contained in the admissions packet.
- If a place is not immediately available, you may wish to be
placed on our waiting list. You will receive notification of
waiting list status.
- Upon receipt of a non-refundable tuition deposit we will hold a
place for your child in our program. This deposit will be applied
towards your tuition.
