Following are specific steps
in our admission process:
- Interested
parents visit and take a tour of
the school
- Interested parents schedule
an interview with the director to
ascertain that
Discovery House is the place to
meet the expectations you have for
your child’s
development.
- Your child
is scheduled to spend a day in the
school.
- Admissions
decisions are made based on an evaluation
of the child's school visit,
and the needs of existing classes
with regard to balance of age and
gender.
- If a place
is not immediately available, you
may wish to be placed on our waiting
list. You will receive notification
of waiting list status.
- When the interview and assessment
have been successfully concluded, and a
space is available, you will be
required to pay an application fee
and complete the
application forms contained in the
admissions packet.
- Your child
may resume as soon as forms are
turned in and fees are paid. If
the
application is for a future date, we will hold a place for the
required date upon
receipt of a non-refundable tuition
deposit. This deposit will be applied
towards
your tuition.
