Mrs. Bola Kalejaiye is the Director of Learning, and also the school's founder. She is a second-
career teacher whose first degree is in Computer Science.
She received her Montessori certification in early childhood education (ages 2.5 to 6) from the
National Center for Montessori Education in Houston, Texas. She is AMS (American Montessori
Society) trained for elementary I and II (ages 6 to 12) at the Houston Montessori Center. Mrs. K.,
as she is often called, has an intense passion to see children develop the right way. She is a
strong advocate of the Montessori philosophy.
She has taught in the school at the children's House, lower elementary and upper elementary
levels. She is moving out of a permanently assigned classroom so she can manage student
learning at all levels, curriculum sufficiency, adequacy of learning resources and staff
development. |

Mrs. Okeyinfu Ajayi ("Kaykay") is the Business Manager. She holds a Bachelors Degree in
Geography and Regional Planning from the University of Benin. She has years of experience in
performance monitoring & improvement, business development, and supply management in a
variety of industries. She keeps the Discovery House machine well-oiled, and it is quite a job. She
manages all resources - human, capital and operational. She administers all school policies and
procedures, and is also the focal point for all external agencies. Her passion for the children and
her understanding of Montessori principles have made it quite tempting to have her in the
classroom, but her resourcefulness and drive make it impossible to move her from
administration.

Ms. Mmeme Amune is the School Administrator. She is the first point of contact for all -
Parents, teachers, children and visitors. She coordinates all admissions, registration, and all daily
communication between school and home. She is also responsible for the children's welfare.
She is a graduate of the University of Jos where she studied Languages & Linguistics, majoring in
French.She speaks, reads and/or writes French, Russian, German, Creole (Seychellois), Hausa
and Igarra (her native tongue).

Infant-Toddler (3 months to 3 years)
We have one infant class and two toddler communities. They are facilitated by 3 Montessori directresses,
assistants and care givers.
Children's House (3 to 6 years)
We have 4 Children's Houses. They are facilitated by 6 Montessori directresses and 4 assistants.
Elementary (6 to 12 years)
We have 2 Lower and 1 upper elementary classroom. They are facilitated by 4 Montessori directresses and
teachers for drama, dance, visual arts, music, french and P.E.
