Founder’s Welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to our school’s website.

If your child is between the ages of 1 and 6 (s)he will be leaving university somewhere between 16-21 years from now. In a rapidly evolving world, what kind of adult will he or she need to be to be successful in all of life’s possible undertakings:
What skills will he/she need?
What values will he/she have?
What demands will life place on him/her at that time?
What kind of knowledge is essential in a rapidly evolving world?

At Discovery House, we believe that while the world is evolving, certain human values and abilities are timeless and always relevant. Not only so, but they are great predictors of success. It is to this end that we have created the profile of our ideal graduate, and all our programs are geared towards laying a solid foundation/building blocks for this profile to be our graduates’ reality.

As a mother of four grown sons, with a family that has lived in different parts of the world, I have been through the process of finding the right schools for my children several times. I can therefore imagine the anxieties parents face as they visit schools either physically or in cyberspace. We have worked hard to communicate our vision, ethos and programs to you through this website. We hope that you are sufficiently informed to determine that our school is a right fit for your family.
