When you have made the decision to join our community, please take the following steps:
Step 1: Apply
Applications are accepted year-round. Please fill an Intent to Enroll form so we have your child/children’s details and contact details of the parent(s). We will contact you once we receive your application.
Step 2: Schedule playdate
We want to get to know your child. Your child will spend two days with us for us to us to get to know him/her, introduce him/her to our environment and assess his/her readiness for our environment.
Step 3: Schedule interview
We also want to get to know you. Prospective parents are required to attend an interactive session with the Head of School. This is to ascertain that goals and expectations are aligned between prospective families and Discovery House
Admissions decisions are made based on an evaluation of the child’s school visit, the parents interview, and the needs of existing classes with regard to balance of age and sex. If the decision to offer admission is made, parents will pay the Registration Fee & Security deposit to collect the application packet. We will then hold a place for your child. If a place is not immediately available we will add your family to our waitlist and you will receive notification once a space becomes available.
